Members will have a clear understanding of each individual’s inner motives.
Organizations around the world are missing out on many opportunities, such as new levels of innovation, higher levels of performance and greater customer satisfaction. Often, the main reason for this is the inability of a group of people to work cohesively in reaching a common goal and execute in a harmonious way.
Most group members are well intentioned and capable. What gets in the way is the group’s inability to create an environment of trust, transparency and healthy debate, which is only possible by having the right conversation among group members.
TLI has designed an adaptable process, Group Synergy, which takes groups through an exploration of three key leadership dimensions:
After going through TLI’s Group Synergy process, your team will improve in the following ways:
What is coaching?
Coaching is a partnership between two people—coach and client—aimed at assisting the client in reaching his or her maximum potential. This is done in an environment of mutual respect and confidentiality.
Is coaching right for me?
The answer to this question could be different for each person. However, generally speaking, if you have unmet aspirations or changes that you would like to achieve in life, coaching could be a very helpful resource. After all, nobody makes it alone in life. Coaching offers a path to see with more clarity and helps demonstrate the necessary steps toward your desired direction.
What are some typical reasons someone might work with a coach?
An individual or group might choose to work with a coach for many reasons, such as:
- Developing leadership capacity
- Developing specific skills
- Feeling stuck in life
- Not achieving professional goals
- Having difficulty finding a purpose
- Work and life are out of balance
How can the success of the coaching process be measured?
Typically, measuring success is composed of two dimensions: external and internal.
The external component often deals with others’ perception of the issue at hand. This could be as simple as verbal feedback from key stakeholders or it could be provided in the form of validated feedback instruments, such as The Leadership Circle 360° Profile. Typically, coach and client will establish a mutually agreeable present state and will monitor progress at the midpoint and end of the coaching process.
The internal component could take the form of a self-assessment and a continuum of self-awareness, i.e., how the client assesses his or her own development.
What does the process look like?
TLI’s proprietary coaching process consists of six integrated and interdependent steps:
The education of the potential coach are paramount to a successful outcome. The foundation for the coaching process is respect, trust, and understanding, while holding the client responsible and accountable. This foundation is supported by validated theories, practices and instruments.
